I am married and pursued by this handsome man, Chad, my editor-in-chief.
We currently reside in a little third floor apartment (fondly christened: “The Upper Room”) in Akron, OH.
We worship at Covenant of Grace Church.
I recently graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a degree in English and a 60-page thesis concerning C.S. Lewis, children’s literature, and death – morbid, I know. If that appeals to your nerdiness though, be my guest to peruse it here. In addition to writing, I now work in the guest services department at a zoo and do editing work for Morning by Morning.
A few of my favorite things are: the way my husband holds my hand whenever we pray, the children’s book section, old Hollywood musicals, the way my nephew calls marshmallows “marsha-da-doos,” rolling pins and the baked goods they produce, watercolor, old houses, and European anything.
You can read my thoughts on the purpose of this blog here!
“To a man on a mountain road by night, the glimpse of the next three feet of road may matter more than a vision of the horizon.” – C.S. Lewis
